What to expect in a service

You will be made welcome at the door. You may be given a book, but all the words you need will usually be on the screens in church.
There are no reserved seats at Wesley Memorial, you are welcome to take a seat anywhere you wish.
One of the Church Stewards will start the service with a welcome and any important notices.
Then, whoever is leading the service will begin.
The usual content of worship will include prayers, bible readings, a sermon, hymns, songs and music.
After the worship you are very welcome to stay for refreshments which are usually served in the church hall – just follow the crowd.
For those of you who have been to church before, there will be lots you will be familiar with. For those new to church, we do all we can not to make things so mysterious you won't understand what on earth is going on.

Most of all you will be made very welcome.
