Open Doors Redevelopment Project - Burkina Faso
Our support for the Christian Aid project in Burkina Faso, West Africa, gives a practical focus to our membership of the World Church.
As part of the fund-raising for the Open Doors project, we are aiming to give five percent of all voluntary donations and local fundraising to help an estimated 88,000 people to adapt to the challenges of climate change. The Christian Aid project in Burkina Faso is setting up community market gardens, and providing seeds, loans and training for the local people.
Even better, the European Union has promised to quadruple any donations we make to the Burkina Faso project!
